Organisation of Tech

To organise my actors I used my smart phone I had one characters within my opening so it was easy to find days where my actor was free. If I had more actors it would have been harder to find days to film as everyone would not be available at the same time. Using my phone was an effective way to communicate with my actors as it ensured they were informed of dates of filming and what costumes they needed to wear.

I borrowed equipment from school so i had to organise with my teachers for when i could take it home to film.The equipment i needed was wrote down on a timetable to inform my teacher to when to organise the equipment i needed.

When planning where to film i had to put sound,lighting and safety into consideration. Within the starting process of planning my filming i wanted a street scene. I looked at multiple sights such as my housing estate the problem with this location was noise and safety. A busy road is near this location this would have effected the quality of the audio. Also they would be a high risk of actors being hurt or equipment being broken due to being on a public pathway. I did not chose to film here.

My chosen location was my house the reason for this was it was quiet and would provide the best audio. Filming in a private area allowed less pressure on the actors and reduced the risk of accidents. With being my room i could move certain objects to create a believable and a perfect set for my film. 

I would have liked my location to be more conventual for a horror film such as an abandoned house or a worn down room however i did not find any locations which fit my idea. Due to having a low budget i could not afford to create sets.

Inspiration for characters

Logo Change

From analysis I found this logo is not appropriate for my genre so it will not be used in my finished film opening. The gun gives connotations of crime and violence implying the films genre is a action or crime. The camouflage back ground denotes war which has no connection with my film opening. From my resent research I found professional production logos always have an connection with the films genre and context so this is not effective. To ensure I get a higher grade I need my logo to be appropriate to my chosen genre.

I am looking at professional horror production company logos to help develop my own to ensure they are at industry standard.

I have found that most of the company logos are simple however they use colour and font to create an effective logo.
